Dr. Steve Widner 

Dr. Steve Widner is a Board Certified, Diplomate,  Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who has practiced in Austin since 1990.   Dr. Widner has extensive experience in the placement of single and multiple dental implants, removal of wisdom teeth, TMJ disorders  and corrective jaw surgery including chin augmentation.   During his 23-year career, Dr. Widner has placed thousands of dental implants, removed over 100,000 wisdom teeth and performed over 500 jaw surgery cases.   Dr. Widner is a featured provider for the All-on-4™ dental implant technique at Dental Implants Osseo News.  He is a leading provider in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the Austin area and  known for his technically superior care with an eye for detail.   Dr. Widner is a native Texan, and is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Stephen F. Dr. Jeff Alford

 

Dr. Jeff Alford is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon  who graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1999 with a degree in Biology.  He received his dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. After completing his dental education he practiced general dentistry with his father in Texarkana, Texas.  In 2004 he began an oral surgery internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth and in 2009 he completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.  Dr. Alford has a special interest in the placement of dental implants including both metal and non-metal.

Dr. Alford has a special interest in Obstructive Sleep Apnea or OSA.   He co-authored, “An Alternative Technique for Genioglossus Muscle Advancement in Phase I Surgery in the Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea”, in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Volume 67, Issue 10 , Pages 2315-2318, October 2009.
