Claudia
Practice Administrator

Claudia has worked for Dr. Widner for almost twenty years as Practice Administrator. She is the nuts and bolts of the practice. She holds numerous certifications from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Dental Office Managers and the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. Though she grew up in Chicago, Claudia has lived in Austin over twenty years, where she lives with her husband and enjoys her two children and four grandchildren. Claudia is an avid reader and writer of short stories and plays. She is attending Colorado Tech working towards her MS degree in Health Care Management.





Jenerial
Director of Surgical Staff

Jenerial has worked in the dental field for over two decades, including 13 years with Dr. Widner. Jenerial’s many duties include the responsibility of surgical implant coordinator; her job is to ensure that an implant patient’s treatment runs flawlessly. Her many affiliations include membership in the International Congress of Implantologists. She attended both the University of New Orleans, A.C.C., and the University of Texas Health Science Center. Born in New Orleans, she has also lived in Montana and Guam and now calls Austin home. A devoted wife, mom and New Orleans Saints fan, she still finds spare time to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross.

Libby
Director of Practice Development

Libby has worked for Dr. Widner since 2001 as our resident Nutritionist and Project Director. With a BS and BA from the University of Texas, Libby provides a rare and valuable resource for an Oral Surgery practice as our nutritionist, and she can consult our patients on specific dietary concerns. She particularly enjoys visiting with our orthognathic patients since both she and her two children have required jaw surgery. She is a certified Yoga instructor and teaches yoga in her spare time.





Rae
Surgical Assistant

Over the past 9 years as a surgical assistant for Dr. Widner, Rae is well adept to assisting in many of the various types of surgeries performed in our office. She is well-versed in computer imaging and patient photography. A native Austinite Rae is a Crocket High graduate and attended Tarlton State University. Rae is mom to two children and many, many pets and she still manages to find time to volunteer for Girl Scouts, 4H, the FFA, and her church’s food bank.





Kim
Practice Accountant

Kim earned BS and Master’s degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas and for over twenty years has called Austin home. Her busy schedule includes managing her husband, Dr. Widner, three children, three pets, and her many community activities, including Women’s Symphony League and Junior League of Austin. She also keeps active with skiing, soccer, gymnastics and sports.





Amanda
Surgical Assistant

Amanda has been with our office since 2001. Currently, she is working towards her R.N. degree at A.C.C. and is using her expertise to ensure that our patients are well-prepared both pre and post surgically. Now a resident Austinite, she originally called Corpus Christi home. In addition to work and studies Amanda keeps busy with her young son.






Heather
Scheduling Coordinator
Bastrop Office Manager

Heather, a native Austinite, is a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School. She has worked in the dental field for over 14 years, during this time she has gained much experience in the insurance arena and is very helpful in assisting our patients with their insurance questions. Currently, Heather and her family live in Bastrop where she has participated in many activities, including playing in a women’s kickball league and volunteering for the Bastrop Little League.





Nicole
Scheduling Coordinator

Nicole recently moved to Austin from Charleston, Illinois. Nicole is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with degrees in both Community Health and Family Consumer Sciences/Nutrition. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in outside activities.

All of our surgical assistants are radiology and nitrous oxide certified.
